Super 8 Long Island City, LGA Hotel

This hotel exceeded all expectations. Friendly staff, modern rooms, and outstanding cleanliness. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The place can use some spousing up. A bit more deep cleaning would work and honestly a full enclosure for the showers would be great too

I have as a rule to book hotels on the outskirts of big cities but close to means of transport. So I saved a lot of money traveling. When I decided to stay here I was met with an immense amount of negative comments that worried me because I was traveling with the whole family. Clearly something happened because my experience has nothing to do with the latest comments: 1- Check in is 15:00. We arrived 12:30 from Argentina and were given our room (I was thinking only of leaving the bags and returning later). 2- The staff does their job, no more, no less. Right and respectful. 3- The common parts of the building clean and in condition. 4- The comfortable room to sleep and bathe each day after touring the city. Clean, air conditioning, TV, internet connection, hairdryer. There's no safety deposit box. Our room (203) overlooked Manhattan. Towels replenished daily if left on the floor. They don't make the beds. 5- If you travel by car you have free carport in the back. 6- It has a mini breakfast included to start the day with a coffee. 7- The neighborhood is safe and with varied gastronomic offer. 8- The metro station is 850 meters in a straight line and from there you can connect with the whole city. In short an excellent option to stay. I've traveled something and I assure you that the terrifying comments I don't understand where they came from.
