What a dump this place is! Soon as you walk in the lobby, you realize you’ve walked into a very low end hotel. I did not know that Wyndham owned these types of hotels. The rooms were small, gaudy and not very well maintained The bed was soft and I’m sure that my back will be in great pain when I wake up tomorrow morning. If this is the way Wyndham brand Hotels look, then I will be sticking with Marriott and Hilton all day long!

I was grateful this hotel had a room available after a long rainy drive. The hotel is fine, room spacious, comfy bed. The decor is retro '70s. Nice restaurant staff. However, the hotel needs to clarify its pet policy. Expedia had it as pet friendly. This caused a hassle for my fellow traveler when she was told her dog was not welcome, when she in fact stayed at NoMa the previous week with her dog. It was finally settled for a cleaning fee. The fellow checking us in tried his best to problem-solve, but it was harrowing, since we were too exhausted to find a nearby pet friendly hotel. Also, beware of a site that is actually "Reservations@lodging.support" when booking this hotel. I made the reservation online while on the road, on a site that looked like it was the hotel's. This scam tacked on something called "Tax Recovery & Fees" which almost doubled the room rate. Best to be sure you call the hotel directly when booking.

We stayed 2 nights, Friday through Sunday for a wedding held locally. First impression, the parking was insufficient, compounded by the fact that the hotel placed as many as 5 traffic cones in front of prime parking spots for "VIP" guests. This was annoying given the lack of available spaces. We arrived at 7:30 pm on Friday, and NoMa Social was in full swing with extremely loud music, and lots of activity. It was difficult to hear the check-in clerk, but we received our 5th floor room assignment, the key and a voucher for Tapas in the restaurant. We went to the room and were repelled by the over powering smell of cleaning solution that permeated the halls and the guest room. This never dissipated during our stay and would be problematic for someone with sensitivities to strong odors. Even though clean and tidy, the plain white walls of the guest rooms and hallways could use a decorator's touch. We had an evening engagement, and left a half hour after check-in. When we returned around 11 pm, the music was still blasting and continued until 2 pm. The vocally loud patrons spilled into the parking lot making it impossible to sleep. Hotel guests in the hallway were excessively loud and were banging on doors in the early hours of the night. In the morning, we had breakfast at NoMa Social. The food was good, and carefully prepared to avoid allergens and gluten. The restaurant was quiet and clean. Saturday night was a repeat of Friday. More loud music and partying. We were told by the front desk at check-out that this is normal for this hotel on weekends. Sunday morning, a lovely brunch buffet was prepared for wedding guests in a private dining area with omelets made to order, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, bagels and muffins. Very nicely presented and attended by wait staff. The wall panels around the room displayed digital images of the new couple which was a sweet personal touch.
