3 West Club Hotel

Booked an overnight stay through Expedia on 12/24/2024. Was sent a cancellation email on 5/24/2025, morning of the booking which I did not see due to travel and preparations. The cancellation was due to overbooking. My wife and I we're made aware of the cancellation when we walked into the hotel lobby to check in. I made the reservations 5 months before! 3 West Club didn't realize that they had overbooked until that morning. I frantically had to find another hotel to stay in.

Firstly the location of this hotel is brilliant. You go left and you’re on 5th Avenue, turn right and you have Radio City at the end of the road, go straight and you’re at Rockefeller. It is easy to miss, but is a really lovely hotel. I must stress, it is not modern and seems to be stuck in an older New York time, but this is what we really loved about it. It is clean, has comfortable beds and good sized rooms and we could see St Patrick’s Cathedral out of our window. The rooms are cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bedding. We were on the 6th floor and could hear piano playing and singing from upstairs, some evenings, but this was not an issue, but may be to some. There is an amazing little Pizza place next door for a cheap eat and is very popular and is close to many restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we had an absolutely amazing time.

Great location, very close to 5th Street and 10 minutes walk from Grand Central Station. Structure a bit 'dated but room and bathroom large and clean (carpet in the room but not in the bathroom). Pub and restaurant not tried but very nice rooms. Receptionist friendly and helpful.
