Hilton Garden Inn Newburgh / Stewart Airport

We booked a room for the night of Sunday, January 25 during which the terrible snowstorm occurred and there was also a prohibition to guida.sosi we asked to move the reservation for January 27 and they did not give us any answer .il manager was unavailable despite having called several times and the staff at the reception brutally closed the call.So absolute rudeness and lack of availability despite the impossibility to arrive .think well before booking

I wish I took my business elsewhere for my hotel block. I booked this hotel due to closer proximity to the venue, but wish I had booked a different hotel even if it meant being out if the way. I will say, the rooms were very clean and the lobby was clean as well. Joy, the director of sales, and Zack on the evening front desk were both great to deal with and super pleasant. However, everyone else I encountered at the front desk were not pleasant, especially the woman who checked us in on Friday afternoon. Many people staying for my wedding commented on the rude attitude of the woman who checked them in. Everything seemed like a bother to her and she truly didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I was very embarrassed that my guests were met with such an unkind demeanor. To be honest, this hotel was not cheap to book for two nights (over $500) and I feel we could have been met with kind and courteous staff at the very least.

I am an over the road truck driver and was checked in at 5:30 am and the told clerk I needed the room for the day after driving all night. I was awoken by housekeeping at 11:30 am, saying morning management was forcing me to move to another room. I was charged for another room. Evening manager was refusing to give me a receipt. Argued with me for 10 minutes before finally giving me a receipt. Rudest and most unprofessional staff and then complained to me that she had to clean a second room!
