Holy cow!!!!! This place used to be a dump! Now that it is under new ownership it is absolutely unbeatable! Everything is super nice and clean. They now have an amazing restaurant/bar. Excellent food with fair prices. And to top it all off they have a golf simulator in the lobby area. Can’t praise the updates enough!

So based on the reviews and the photos I made the leap to stay at a Red Roof Inn in general and this one specifically. We were only planning a quick overnight stay to sleep (for less than 8 hours). I did not expect luxury, but at least something decent for one night. Let me tell you - yikes. This hotel has put me off Red Roof Inn's forever which is sad because I really wanted to like it. The bed was honestly the worst I have EVER slept on in my entire life. Each time my husband moved an inch the whole bed shook and woke me up (my kids also complained about this on their separate bed as well). The beds were soft and saggy. My kids bed sheets were damp and sticky - they refused to use sheets at all, all night long. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom. There was a washcloth left by the previous guest hanging in the bathroom (I know because it was NOT the usual white hotel washcloths) so I am not sure how well the room was cleaned between guests. The hallway leading to the room was dark, dank and smelly with dirty carpet. Many light bulbs were not working. The walls were stained. Our room stank of stale smoke (although it was a non smoking room) and there were greasy fluid marks on the curtains as well as the bed side phone. There was an outdoor pool and it looked nice, but as I did not use it I could comment. There was also no breakfast provided. There was a mini fridge.

It was a good motel. A bit outdated, not much to do in walking distance but the town in 5 minutes ride away. We did not try the pool. There was decent WIFI and previous guest have conviently forgotten to logout from Netflix. Otherwise seems like there was just free channels.
