I have been working in the Rochester area for most of 2026. Travelling and being away from family is hard. I stayed at a few different hotels in the area but once I found the Best Western Market Place Inn that has been my place to stay! Greg at the front desk is Awesome! Greg has been super helpful throughout this year. By the time I arrive on Monday I am about 17 hours into my day and tired. I walk through the door and Greg calls me by name and gets me set up with a room! Each afternoon after long days he always asks how I am doing and if my stay is going well and if I need anything. The hotel has been getting upgraded with new paint outside. Plenty of parking, we were doing storm work and some nights I had to park a tri-axle truck here, never an issue! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are two grocery stores and several restaurants close by. I Highly recommend the Best Western Market Place Inn!

Free parking, close to 90, and decent breakfast. Elevator had graffiti on the walls and trash on the floor. Our bathroom floor and one of the hand towels were dirty. The TV wasn’t working. It was unplugged. We booked third party, so the price was cost effective.

I was so disappointed this weekend, after having stayed in this hotel repeatedly for the last nine years. It used to be my go-to hotel in Rochester. But this weekend, I noticed a decline in the facilities as soon as I stepped into the elevator, which was filthy. When we arrived in the room, we noticed a curtain half hanging off of its hooks, and numerous clips for the curtain sitting in a pile by the window. There was some kind of brown cardboard-like debris in the sheets. And the first morning we were there, we had to vacate the room because the bathroom light was flickering constantly, making it unusable. The new room we were moved to, which we greatly appreciated (thank you to the woman who was working the front desk AND breakfast area) was better, but there were mysterious white stains all over the curtains (I don’t even want to know), and the toilet was running and “ghost flushing” all night. The juice machine was broken in the breakfast area, and there was debris in the stairwells, indicating that they were not being cleaned regularly. When I checked out, my bill was inaccurate – they had not applied my $50 Best Western gift card, which I had entered when I made the reservation online. When I asked the woman at the front desk if the bill could be fixed, she said only the manager could fix it. It is still not fixed and the invoice has not been updated. When I just called the hotel to speak with him, I was told he was going be gone for a week! And no one else could correct the bill. I’m glad I kept my confirmation number and a screenshot of my reservation indicating the correct price, because I will be contacting Best Western’s national customer service line. This is all very sad, because this used to be a great hotel.
