Comfort Inn West

It said on Priceline that it was a Comfort Inn.....it is not! Has been dropped by Comfort Inn. It is now the Hammock Hotel. Desk clerk was very unprofessional. Had a cropped top on which showed her midsection. Sat crosslegged on a stool the entire time. Gave us our room card and we went out to get our luggage. When we got back in, she wanted our cards back. She had given us a room that wasn't cleaned. This was around 6:30 p.m. OK we go to next room and the door was open and someone was already occupying this room. 3rd room was OK. Elevator was filthy. All kinds of crud along walls and corner. Room was sort of clean. Very old and furniture was way past its prime were . The worst thing was when we got home we discovered we had been charged TWICE! Once for the night we actually had the misfortune to stay and once for a night 3 nights later. We were 600 miles from there on that date. We discovered this charge after getting home and checking our account. We have been trying to reach the hotel all morning but no one answers. If we don't get a refund, will be notifying the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

Just walk on by. The stock, corporate pictures look amazing. This hotel is so much less then amazing. Smells like smoke, bedspread was filthy, holes in the walls. I checked in, trying to give the lobby the benefit of the doubt. Wrong! Room was worse than the lobby. I asked for a refund, the clerk didn't even bat an eye. Of course it hasn't been processed yet so I'm still waiting. I'll probably dispute it with the credit card company. Don't try to save a buck, honestly it's not worth it!

I’ve never submitted a review of a hotel ever but I had to make an exception in this case as this place was beyond disgusting. There were splatter stains on the wall, stains on the sheets, and actual pills on the floor. The desk drawer was missing and the grounds were strewn with litter. I am sickened that I spent 12,000 of my Gold Member points at such a hellhole. Comfort Suites are generally pretty nice but this place needs to be razed. Stay away!!!!
