HAMPTON INN LONG ISLAND-ISLAND

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, front desk very nice. Heater made odd noises all night, but we waited until check out to tell the front desk. They said they would have maintenance look at it before the next person checked in. Would stay here again.

Property is right off the highway. If you turn right out of the property you need to make 2 U turns to get back. I needed to wash clothing and they did not have any laundry machines. Room itself was nice. Comfy and fancy computer chair, WiFi was about 8 up 6 down, shower had good pressure, nice hot water, bed and pillows very comfy, mini fridge got so cold it froze my drinks. No noise issues. I did see they had an indoor pool. Plenty of working plugs for your electronics. HVAC worked well.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Islandia for one night to celebrate my son Vegas’s 13th birthday. Vegas is profoundly autistic and nonverbal, and we came down to Long Island to celebrate with his big brother, big sister, brother-in-law, godfather, and to introduce him to his new baby nephew. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — especially Kaitlyn (the manager) and Alyssa at the front desk. They were incredibly kind and thoughtful, and even surprised Vegas with a big bag of treats and a birthday card signed by almost everyone on staff. That small act of kindness meant more to us than they’ll ever know — the card now hangs on a picture board in our living room and will always stay there. The hotel was spotless, check-in and check-out were smoother than butter, and the breakfast area smelled amazing and looked cozy and inviting. Even though we were only there for one night, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and cared for. Thank you, Hampton Inn Islandia, for giving our family such a beautiful memory
