Parker Inn and Suites

If only I could rate it zero stars. When travelling, I typically look for boutique hotels or inns, and this one looked quite charming. I booked one night for a stopover while on a recent road trip (I used a major third party booking service) only to find that it was empty, windows papered over, and not in operation at all. In fact, I was told it had been condemned in 2023. How it's still listed here, and on the other booking sites. is beyond me, but I'm now disputing my credit card charge.

TOLD US WE HAD TO VACATE OUR ROOM A FEW HOURS AFTER CHECKING IN DUE TO A WATER MAIN BREAK. WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD NOT BE CHARGED. FIVE MONTHS LATER THEY POSTED A CHARGE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I CANNOT SPEAK TO ANYONE BECAUSE THEIR PHONE IS NOT IN SERVICE. THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY SAYS I AM RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE IT IS MORE THAN 60 DAYS SINCE I MADE THE CHARGE. PARKER INN SUCKS

I absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. It is a very cozy, quiet place with a direct view of downtown Schenectady. The staff are polite and go out of their way to try and accommodate everyone . I will return as soon as I can.
