The Pioneer Building

My husband and I visited Asheville for a festival. We absolutely loved the Pioneer building. Staying there felt like we had our own little condo. Very roomy with modern, clean furnishings, a balcony with rocking chairs which was great for the cool weather. It was fun to stay in an evening and cook at "home". We were walking distance from an organic grocery store. We had zero complaints and plan to visit again.

My wife and I took advantage of a weekend without the kids to treat ourselves to a much needed break. The unit has a condo feel and was beautifully decorated. Modern furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, jacuzzi bath, spacious shower, lots of windows, comfortable king sized bed, dining area, living area and patio - it had everything we needed! As it turns out, we didn't need much, because we spent most of our time walking, eating and drinking our way through downtown Asheville. We picked up a few comfort items (coffee and snacks) at the Greenlife grocery store, a short block away, but we ate all of our meals downtown. It was about a five minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. Very clean apartment, quiet, easy to find. We parked the car when we first arrived and didn't get back in it until it was time to go. It was a great escape and we will definitely be back!

Comfortable, clean, and spacious home away from home! Easy to find and within walking distance of downtown and the South Slope. And right next door to the Moog factory! Convenient, assigned parking. We were so glad we ended up here after waiting too long to book a hotel.
