As some have noted, the hotel could use a refresh (paint and carpeting in particular), but our room was impeccably cleaned. The kitchenette and full-sized refrigerator would be particularly helpful for those staying several days. There's even a table and chairs for dining. The beds,as well as the other furniture, were comfortable. The one reason I don't give the hotel four stars (and it's a big problem), is they don't have air conditioning in the rooms. I guess they figure like the Europeans -- you don't always need air conditioning. Until you do.

Central location, near restaurant's a small store and ski resort. Spiral staircase with bedroom upstairs and a full kitchen downstairs. Showers have water saving heads on them( don't try to wash your hair) couch in room 208 smelled like 💩 poop! Told front desk two days in a row and they said management was away and never even sent house keeping to clean couch or replace. Beware room 208

I had a great time at the Four Seasons Beech Mountain.. the price was great!..the new owners and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.. the location fosters the coolest temperatures in North Carolina..it snowed and the landscape was beautiful.. yes, the accommodations are basic and simple, but the place was absolutely immaculate and had everything you need for a cozy comfortable stay. Dale, the general manager, was particularly kind and helpful, and I will definitely stay there again!
