Comfort Suites Boone

Plain and simple; this would have been a 5 star and perfect stay. However the very miserable and not welcoming receptionist, I believe her name was Stacy on arrival made us feel not welcomed and nervous with her strange behavior. She looked at us and responded to our overly kind questions, like she couldn't be bothered. As soon as we walked away, she sprayed some can all over the counter, where we just filled out paperwork. We'd love to stay again as we have business and fun things to do. The breakfast was the best and everyone at the hotel was great. Could be a great place to call home away from home, without that poor attitude and behavior.

We are just back from a two night stay and I thought I would come here to see what was said by others. I am like, what???? Get real. Boone is really busy, and this place is feet away from a major four lane road and intersections. It is FAR FROM QUIET. You have construction trucks running this road constantly with loud exhaust, motorcycles, attention seeking pickups and the like. How anyone could claim otherwise including the hotel itself is laughable. All this said, the room was nice, no complaints. Rest of the facility had evidence of construction worker's footwear and remnants thereof. Breakfast was typical, though the coffee was pretty weak. Front desk checkin lady seemed overwhelmed and wasn't welcoming at all. Finally, that road out front. Almost anywhere you're going will involve a left turn out of the hotel. Good luck. Traffic backs up well beyond the hotel exit from the nearby intersection. Bottom line, if QUIET is your objective this isn't your place. But, seems Boone overall is this way.

🚨 Worst hotel experience of my life 🚨 After driving 7 hours to Boone, I checked into Comfort Suites Downtown. Later that night, a police officer knocked on my door because the front desk clerk falsely accused me of stealing a bottle of water — one I had brought from Costco! When I proved it wasn’t theirs, the clerk, instead of apologizing, told me I was “disturbing the front desk” and said he was throwing me out. His exact words when I mentioned management: “I don’t care.” I packed up and went to the Courtyard next door — where the difference in service was night and day. Comfort Suites Boone = humiliation, zero professionalism, and false accusations. ⚠️ Never again. Stay far away.
