Comfort Inn

Room was clean but tired (carpet was worn through in a couple of spots); breakfast was good

Because it was a quick trip with no plans we didn’t make a reservation but I had already chosen to stay at comfort inn in Matthews nc. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed stay and awesome staff. Chet put us in a great room. We had an issue with the internet. Chet took care of it immediately. The breakfast was great for continental. If you left hungry, it was your fault. We were within walking distance to great shopping even Costco and Sam’s Club. Also very close to a charging station for the Tesla which was important. The gym we use was also within walking distance so we visited there too. This was a very enjoyable visit and we will return. Place was clean, bed was good, staff was excellent.

Lobby area, room,hallways were clean. Breakfast was good and well maintained.
