Days Inn Charlotte Center City

I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately found several aspects of my experience frustrating. First, the room design felt poorly thought out and impractical, lacking the functional layout you would expect from a Hilton property. The sink and mirror were outside the actual bathroom, to make matters worse, the downstairs coffee station was highly unreliable. It was never open on time, and on Monday morning, it didn't open at all. When you are traveling, being able to get a morning coffee reliably is a basic expectation, and this venue completely missed the mark. Between the design flaws and the poor service schedule downstairs, I was left very disappointed with my stay. I spent over 400 dollars for an unpleasant stay..

Outstanding Customer Service at DoubleTree by Hilton City Center I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton City Center and wanted to recognize the outstanding hospitality I received during my visit. Victoria Ford truly stood out. She took the time to check in with me in such a warm and friendly way, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. Her commitment to providing extraordinary service was evident in every interaction. It's clear that she takes great pride in ensuring her guests are well cared for and have an exceptional experience. I would also like to recognize Nakiia Lugg, who was equally friendly, professional, and eager to help. He assisted Victoria seamlessly and made sure everything was handled efficiently with a positive attitude. What impressed me even more was seeing other guests enjoying the same high level of service. It was obvious that the team consistently goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Exceptional customer service is what transforms a good hotel stay into a memorable one, and Victoria Ford and Nakiia Lugg exemplify what true hospitality looks like. They are tremendous assets to the DoubleTree by Hilton City Center, and I look forward to returning because of the outstanding care they provide. Avoid this location as they running a damage scam on their customers. I was traveling and my flight was interrupted and AA made a reservation at this location. I was there for less than 8 hours and never touched anything other than the bed in the room. I did notice a large dent in the coffee table when I was checking in but didn't think much of it. After checkout the this property charged me $250 for the table. If you make the mistake of staying here make sure you document any issues as they will scam you if you don't. I would not recommend this location.
