Days Inn Port Charlotte

Request rooms in back side of hotel. Us 41 very loud in the mornings. Breakfast is very minimal.

This was our second stay at the Days Inn Port Charlotte. When we visited last, work was still ongoing, renovating and repairing damage from hurricane Ian. This time all work was complete and the rooms were nicely done. Last time we were in a room on the front of the hotel and had some road noise due to cars and trucks stopping at the nearby light. This time we had a room on the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The amenities provided were good with a small refrigerator and microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and several different kinds of pillows were offered. There is a pool but we did not use it so cannot comment on it. Breakfast is included and very adequate. The manager, Christine, is very helpful. The location was very convenient for us since we were visiting my husband's sister who lives at a nearby assisted living facility. This is not a 5 star hotel, but for the price point it is a very good choice.
