Knights Inn Charlotte South

This is a very nice place to stop for a night or to spend a week. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. They offer room service if you don't feel like going out. The only thing I did not like was the towels. They we're very hard and smelled bad. Thank goodness I had my own. Other than that a nice place. The attendants were very friendly and knew their duties. I would stay there again if crossing thru that area.

I would like to give a higher review but the wifi was absolutely useless on a Saturday night. Maybe too many people were using it at the same time? TV did not have anything interesting. The beds were comfortable enough and you just get soap and no shampoo in the wash area. Breakfast is coffee and wrapped muffins you get in 7/11s. That's all folks!

The hotel looked clean by the pictures online, the ratings were decent - 3 stars for a budget hotel is great! However, the desk clerk on arrival was less than pleasant, and as soon as I walked in to my room and turned on the light bugs went running. I killed one to analyze the type to ensure I was not exposed to something I could never get rid of, and headed right back out of the room. When I went to the desk to advise I would NOT be staying there because of the bugs, I was not even apologized to for the situation. Find another spot. This one is not in the best part of town and has a gate around the property that is closed at night for what I can only assume is for security.
