poor customer service from Best Western headquarters on down to the local management team. Worst hotel experience in my life. I was given a contimanated bio hazard box and when I complained to customer care, they gave me a ticket # and the general Joanna C & Javeir B. Came to my door to demand payment and told me that they had made a MISTAKE. Really, with covid running rampant, you all get to make a mistake that could jepodize my safety. Good thing they closing on Monday, 10/8.

Total mess in checking in; not normal procedures (especially for a priority member. ) Took 20 minutes to check in; desk personnel in-put all of my information again (should have been in the file already); copied my driver's license; charged me a $100 deposit. The room was nice and clean; somewhat outdated, but extremely nice space and amenities-- couch, kitchen, TV, etc. We really enjoyed the space.

We arrived at 6:43 pm to be told rooms were not yet available due to staffing issues, which is not a terribly big deal, just annoying, because I had hoped to jump in the shower before going to an event at 7. We decided to wait, because they were assigning rooms as they became available and refusing to "hold" rooms for guests who were not there when they were assigned. We knew we would be late returning from our event and didn't want to risk not having a room upon our return. While waiting, we noticed a lot of trash around the premises. After about 20 minutes, we were given a room. When we walked in, the carpet was very wet (hopefully having just been shampooed). We dropped off our stuff quickly, since we were now late leaving for our event, and left. When we got back a little after midnight, we realized we did not have sheets for the sofa bed. This was taken care of pretty quickly after walking to the front desk. While putting the sheets on and getting settled in, I was still thinking/hoping I was going to be able to get a shower before heading to bed. Unfortunately, around 1 AM, we started hearing dripping water and found a significant amount of water was coming from the ceiling in the shower. Since I did not want to risk being dripped upon by water coming from a separate room and making its way through who-knows-what, I chose not to shower and used a bathroom rug to try to silence the loud dripping sound. I didn't report it, because it was the middle of the night and I was travelling on my own with my 2 very tired kids. It would have been unreasonable to wait for repairs and clean up or try to move to another room at that time of night, especially after all the trouble we had already been through with this hotel. After a few hours of sleep, we checked out and mentioned the leak and not having been able to use the shower during our stay. The guy up front apologized, but nothing else was done to make any of it right.
