Indigo Research Triangle Park

I travel for a living & have stayed at 2 different Delta Hotels … Ashland, KY & Raleigh-Durham. Both were FANTASTIC! My go-to hotel is a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. Delta is a STEP ABOVE … nicer & classier. (I just don’t find them everywhere I travel.) Lastly, a common thread thus far with Delta is their customer service. Both places had 5-star staff. I checked in this morning around 2:30 AM. Martice greeted me with a smile & had me checked in within minutes … no antiquated 5-10 minute check-in process. We talked a few minutes & off to bed I went. I wish every hotel had a Martice. He was & is an asset to Delta Raleigh-Durham.

I stayed here for one night. I picked this hotel because I was coming in on a late flight into RDU, and wanted somewhere nearby that was reasonably priced. I wasn't disappointed. On arrival, I went through one of the quickest check-ins I've ever experienced. Matisse (unsure how to spell his name) was incredibly quick, but didn't sacrifice anything in the process. He was cheerful, personable and welcoming. One of my coworkers realized they had booked a different hotel, and he calmly helped her out with booking a new room, so he was really accommodating. The lobby looks quite nice, just like the pictures. I guess the rooms were recently renovated, because I could see some parts that looked dated like the curtains and the rounded walls, but the interior of the bathroom looked updated and they use hardwood like floors. There was so much space I could easily do my cardio and yoga workouts in my room instead of using the gym. I had access to the Elite Pantry, which was pretty good. For breakfast, they have bagels and frozen breakfast sandwiches that could be reheated in the microwave. They had an impressive selection of cookies, protein bars, granola bars, packaged baked goods (muffins and twinkies), chips, popcorn, candy and cold drinks. There is a cappuccino machine too. The only fresh fruit was apples. I was basically there for only 12 hours, but felt it was still pretty good value. If I'm come through this area for business again, I would definitely consider returning.

It was a little hard to find off off of the road, but once we found it, it was all good. Check-in was super easy and fast. Our room was ready and clean. We came in late, but that wasn’t a problem and parking was plentiful.
