Highland Lake Inn

I have stayed at HLI 3 times so far, the third being the stay for my wedding weekend. First we stayed at the poolside cottages, pet friendly and perfect for multiple couples or families to vacation together. It is close proximity to the lodge for games, the pool, and Seasons, the restaurant that you absolutely must enjoy. The second time around I stayed in the Woodward House, which was fantastic. The European feel of the common area is gorgeous, and the rooms are large and comfortable with a porch to enjoy. For our wedding weekend, we stayed 4 nights in the primrose suite which I highly recommend. It is secluded off to itself, hiding in plain sight. You can easily cross the lawn to the cabins, pool, or head down to the lake. We were very close to the grand ole hall, which is perfect because that is where our reception was held. We were looking for a place to have our wedding where all of our guests could be accommodated on property, to allow us the maximum amount of time with our guests enjoying a beautiful place together longer than a 4 hour wedding. We held our rehearsal dinner at Seasons, it was beautiful and the food was to die for. Our welcome party for our guests was held in the lodge, it was the perfect place since half the guests were staying there and the large common areas allowed guests to spread out and enjoy some of the entertainment options the lodge has to offer. The ceremony was held down by the lake, and the reception was in the Grand Ole Hall. Seasons catered everything and the guests could not stop complimenting the food, we were so grateful for such a wonderful experience and for Highland Lakes hosting a perfect weekend for my guests and I to celebrate our marriage together. It was unforgettable, and I cannot thank Highland Lakes Inn enough for the hospitality. Us and many guests will be back, it holds a special place in our hearts and it will for you too if you choose to visit.

Stayed with my 7 yr old kids. Went apple picking, swam at the pool, ate at the restaurant and had a blast!

We had an amazing time!! The Woodward House is so beautiful. Comfy beds!! Serene porches. Went kayaking! Swimming in lake and pool. Staff were incredible!! Can’t wait to come back.
