Great location steps away from the beach. Family friendly atmosphere with a nice size pool. We had a room with two double beds which was good for my family of three. Our room was clean a older motel but we had a great experience. The value of the room was great for the location at the beach it can't be beat.

The mattress is the hardest thing I've ever laid on. We couldn't sleep at all (i am not exaggerating). That alone was horrible. Then there was a guy in the connecting room that was screaming loudly and banging stuff at 2 am. The rooms are separated by normal hollow interior doors. Not a solid exterior door for safety. I called the desk but no one answered. We had a room with a hallway light outside of our window. So all night looked like the sun was up. We tried to close the gaps around the curtain to sleep. That should make this room discounted. Lastly, our room began to smell like Marijuana. There was no one outside so the loud yelling neighbor has to smoking in his room. It was 90° outside and we had our door open to ventilate.

This hotel was clean, well lit up at night. We had a 1st floor efficiency with 2 queen beds, full kitchen, updated bathroom and a nice sitting area. I have stayed in many places in the Outer Banks ans this Hotel was definitely the best in location and a great value for your money.
