SUPER 8 LUMBERTON

I just checked in today... Everything has been great so far. This place is so much nicer since the new manager had the place remodeled. New beds, new flooring and furniture. Office looks great also & free breakfast is offered also. I plan on staying for at least a week. I will post another review in a few days

Shower curtain rod is hanging as is towel rod in bathroom. Floors are not filthy, but not cleaned well. Beds are pretty bad. Not the worst, but not the best. Internet is slow, it works, but it’s slow. Wallpaper is in bad condition in bathroom and the inside door handle fell off in my hand for my front door (I called and they fixed that quickly). My client moved me here from any other hotel I usually stay in and it is not a great hotel or even up to super 8’s poor standards. I won’t be staying here much longer and may move and pay the difference to stay somewhere else. Btw A it is no longer a super 8. It is now called Madison Inn as of recently.

It basically was pretty scary to stay here alone. The staff was nice enough but overall, the place did not feel safe. Many questionable people milling in very close proximity to my room. The hotel has a pool but it is just one of the multiple things that have fallen to the way side. Everything about this property is very sketchy and it is more expensive than a very well run property that is just catty-corner to it. Likely should be shut down.
