COMFORT INN & SUITES SELMA

This is not a review against the hotel. I only have positive things to say about the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, check in was fast and easy, my room was extremely clean, and the bed was comfortable. A continental breakfast was provided. My only gripe had nothing to do with the hotel, but with the ongoing construction surrounding the hotel. There is only one, one way road into the hotel. After 8pm and until sometimes 8am, the rods are shutdown surrounding the hotel. This makes it extremely difficult to get to where you are needing to go. In fact, when I checked in earlier this week in the late evening, sheriff cars were parked strategically at all roads blocking any entrance into the hotel. Only one vehicle was manned, and he was maybe 1/2 miles from the hotel. I ended up driving in what looked to be a house or business (now torn down). All that was left was dirt and trees. I ended up driving through this empty lot avoiding tree stumps, etc. Would I stay at this hotel again? Absolutely!! But not until the road construction is removed.

Room was very neat with a clean bathroom. Breakfast - more options compared to other hotels. Value for money. Rated one star less, as the parking area was littered with food and birds were munching on them.

What a fantastic property! SPOTLESSLY clean ! The employees are extremely helpful and friendly! Recently renovated! It is very basic but absolutely perfect! the bedding was amazing! comfortable beds ! This will be our place to stay in the San Antonio area !
