Corporate Suites Of Statesville

We were looking for an alternative hotel in Statesville and, with some hesitation, tried Affordable Suites. We were mostly very pleased. It was very clean. The kitchen/living room area was large and pleasant. We had brought food and could heat it and eat at a table with chairs. The kitchen was well supplied with pans and utensils. There was a couch, coffee table, and TV. The bedroom, however, was less pleasant. The sheets were thin, the mattress old, and the TV didn't work for us. We didn't sleep well because someone upstairs was moving large items around much of the night. We arrived on a Saturday, when the manager has her day off. (She does live on the property) and that concerned us because of the possibility of a problem on arrival, but she gave us clear directions for getting into our suite and was available by phone for any problems. We would stay here again but would stay on the second floor. The area around the hotel is residential but in easy walking distance to a pharmacy and restaurant. It is a quiet area but very close to I40.

This place is an awesome place to stay. It’s very clean and quiet and I’ve never had an issue with noise. The manager Angie is always there to help if needed. I can’t compliment this place ENOUGH and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay!!

I got a phone call at 6:30 AM this morning from the hotel telling me that my reservation that I made several months ago is canceled. My stay is only a couple of days away and there are no other hotels available in the area. Had to make our drive longer and stay further away. Don’t stay here!!!
