Maids took our stuff out of our room, and we had to go to the front desk to get it back which i found very weird, stole one of my expensive chargers from my bag which when i asked didn’t say they took it then i had to convince them to give it back!!!!!!

I called 2/9/2025 to discuss renting a room for 2/21/25-2/22/25 & the person who answered tried to charge me for our service dog & I informed him of the laws and that it is illegal to do so for a service dog. He then asked me medical questions & continued to violate my daughters rights due to hipaa violations as well as ADA required accommodations. I tried to explain to the Indian sounding guy at the Fargo location answering the phone, he hung up on me while I was explaining our USA laws. I called to complain at 301-592-5000 to their main office, he apologized & sent me to supposedly give me a $100 visa gift card… the call was transferred to an outside company to give me a sales pitch for $280 for hotel stays at 5 specific locations across the US & no visa gift card was given to me as promised as well… 0 stars would be my rating if I could. I notice another complaint last year on here as well & so they are knowingly violating the laws at this point.

Pros: Inexpensive; Friendly staff
Cons: Pretty much everything else
This hotel is desperately in need of a total overhaul, or a shut-down. Nearly everywhere in the rooms and hallways is filthy, dilapitated, and gross. Just a few examples:
- Filthy and torn carpeting in rooms and hallways
- Constant smell of old smoke
- Bathroom and shower stall were in poor repair, and had rust and mildew all over
- Mattresses were clearly very old, in that they were saggy and stained. Fortunately, we didn't find any bedbugs.
- Sofa in our room was so gross that we used bedsheets to cover it for sitting
Really the only positives are friendly staff, an OK free breakfast, and a very low price. However, there are substantially better choices at this price point or for a small amount more.
I'm somewhat surprised that Choice Hotels, the parent company, hasn't shut this place down yet.
