TRAVELODGE GRAND FORKS

Exterior of the hotel was disgusting and cigarette butts all over. Old smell in hotel and the rooms were not clean. The sheets on the bed were clean and the mattress was clean as well. Was told the host Hill is getting sold so they may take care of the issue in the near future

Our stay was absolutely horrible. When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed how run down and unkept the property was from the outside but were still hopeful that the room would at least be clean. Check-in took longer than required as it seemed they were short staffed. Upon going to our room, we noticed that none of the outdoor door locks were functioning, meaning that unpaying guests could access the property through all doors at any time. Once in our room, we noticed that the carpet was still dirty in some spots, the bathroom was completely clean with there being hair on the floor and in the shower. The hotel room looked even more run down than the outside of the building, with the ceiling peeling, odd stains on the walls, the shower curtain rod being broken and the duvet being ripped and so forth. The window had no screen and the only thing "locking" the window was a small window stopper that did not seem overly secure. Upon getting into the bed, we noticed that there was hair all over the pillows and sheets, there was also plastic in the sheets and it looked like they hadn't been changed from the previous guests. I went to the front desk to discuss getting out sheets changed with someone, but no one was there to assist me.There was a strange knock on our door at 1:30am and we did not feel very safe. Overall, our stay was not the greatest and we will not be returning to this location every again. We were extremely disappointed at the lack of security and cleanliness of this property.

We used to stay at this hotel all the time. We were very disappointed at how run down it has become. Outside the door that we used to get in was overrun with garbage. The hallways were filthy and the whole place just looked run down. The blanket on our bed was torn and when I went to turn over a pillow they were full of hair. I went to the front desk and asked for them to change the bed. The guy at the front desk said that they had just finished cleaning the room but he said he would still send them to change the sheets. I will say that they came and changed the whole bed right away. We will not be returning to the Travelodge
