I came in for a well known festival. I paid $1200 for 3 nights. Price gouging is dirty but I get it and paid in full. When i checked in I reserved the room for an extra night, just in case I couldn't make the trip home. I decided to save the $300 and drive home. I canceled the reservation the day before as I was told to do. After I got home, I realized he had charged me the $315 for the reservation I had canceled. I called and they began the run around. I needed to call back and speak to a specific person. She wouldn't pull up my name or even attempt to look into it, it was "you need to call and talk to manager". I immediately knew that they do this to those who come in for the inkarceration festival and it's dirty. I have a long list of credit cards that I use often and this is the first time I've had to dispute a charge on ANY of them. Especially for a room that smelled so horrible that I had to go and buy air fresheners for. You already own a gold mine on that particular weekend, and you know it. To get greedy with people who have already spent THOUSANDS to attend a festival in your state is beyond shameful. I expected the locals to get their money but to have a well known establishment pull this, isn't cool. If someone is living paycheck to paycheck, a charge like that could devastate their lives. Very shameful to do to people.

EDIT: I received an email from the I would imagine is the hotel staff. They are still trying to blaim my group as plugging something in to the outlet to cause the outlet to short out. It is a faulty outlet! This is just another example of why you should not stay here, ZERO accountability!
If you are looking for a room that has great access to the highway, but don't care about your comfort, safety or how you are treated, this place is for you! You know the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover", well ignore that. I reserved five rooms for our trip. All five were hot and smelled of musty air. Forget about comfort while trying to use the toilet as they installed them under the counter. Yes, they cut the counters to fit the toilets. Broken toilet paper holder held together with sheet metal and screws. Then came the worst. Power goes out at night in one of the rooms due to a faulty outlet. At first, front desk stated my group can stay in the room overnight without power. When I told her that was not an option, they said they are sold out (parking lot said otherwise) and could not give another room.
Front desk lady calls the manager, and I speak to him on the phone and he is yelling at me, the customer and says and I quote "Did the power work when you checked in? It's not my problem and there is no refund for the night". I asked if he was the manager and he said yes, and the maintenance guy would not be in until 9am and he refused to come in to even look at the problem or reset any breakers. I put the phone down and told the front desk they better fix this tonight. I go check on my group and when I came back down, somehow they had a room empty right down the hall.
Come the morning when the manger was is, he denied ever speaking to me and said I had talked to the maintenance guy. He was bold yelling at a customer over the phone, but when face to face, he made up a false story. Pure example of poor customer service and even worse example of someone who calls themselves a manager of a business.
