Front desk service was great. Parking lot was clean, interior was well vacuumed. Stairs were clean, halls were clean. But. The room? Woof. We were not inside for longer than ten minutes before we saw (and elimated) a roach on the wall. The room itself was clean, and we did not see any other bugs, but did encounter roaches again later that evening. Ever the curious explorer, I checked the peep hole and found that it had been painted over. A picture is attached, and it seems funny to me that it said to use it for safety and then it was unusable? Strange. The toilet, upon entering the bathroom, had one of the side clamps flipped up and it was not connected. The shower/tub WAS clean, save for all the peeling paint. Now, for the good. The room, other than the above, WAS very clean. There were no strange smells, the AC cooled us off quickly, and the beds were quite comfortable. The floors were EMACULATE in their cleanliness, i doubt newly installed floors would have been THAT clean. On a side note; the outlets did not work unless the lamp was on? Wild!

We checked in. Went and got food came back 45 min later so had room total hour looked around the room and found roaches coming out of the plug sockets. The desk clerk told u they couldn't give refund.

The staff was alright but the room was gross, I had to put down towels on the carpet after a shower because I could feel the carpet sticking to my feet from how dirty it was. I cannot emphasize enough how NASTY the carpet was. There was something splattered all over the back of my door. Trash all over the property outside and right on a truck stop so safety was arguable for a single woman. No guns/concealed carry sign on the front door also so decisions had to be made there also. The AC unit took a long time to get the room cool which was basically midnight before I felt like it was a normal temperature. The unit was fully turned off when I entered the room so it smelled musty, damp from the condensation/heat, and super hot. Overall, slept not good, the whole experience was not great. Should have spent the extra $25-30 for a nice hotel.
