Comfort Suites (Cinncinnati)

I would give this hotel a 5 star but because of cleanliness I have to lower the stars. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast bar was well stocked, clean and organized and the attendant was very nice and accommodating. The decor of the hotel was interesting. We believe a New Orleans style. The room was spacious but there were stains on the couch, the curtain shears were ripped, the shade was falling down so I fixed it with two safety pins, the ice bucket and bathroom tray had stains and gunk on them and the coffee maker was so dirty I would not use it. The bed comforter had dry blood spots on the end and the corners of the room had long unattended dust gatherings. The lighting was very dem and it would have been okay but the not in the bathroom. It was difficult to see to do your hair and makeup. The towels were wonderful and absorbent and soft and the bed and pillow were very comfortable. However the air conditioning was close to the bed so we needed to put up a barricade of blankets to keep the cold air from blowing on us in the night. The staff appeared to be great about keeping the hallway and lobby noice quiet after 11pm. Which we appreciated. The hotel is easy to get to and convenient to many restaurants and area activities.

I Loved this Hotel. We are from Florida and spent a night in the Cincinnati area. The Blu Hotel in Blue Ash, Ohio. Although we only stayed for 1 night. It was very memorable. The evening and morning Receptionist Calela and Aisha were the friendliest, most professional and well mannered receptionist I have ever encountered at a Hotel. they went above and beyond their duties to make us feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were clean, bed was so comfortable and everything worked great. Breakfast was great, and I loved the coffee machine. It offered a variety of choices. We asked for a late checkout and was asked if the 1 additional hour requested was enough time or if we needed more time. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I’m in the area.

Would highly recommend this establishment if you are going to be in/or near Cincinnati. VERY welcoming Staff (Calele THANK YOU!!) and accommodating to our request to be on the Ground Floor. Spacious & comfortable rooms/ GREAT shower and comphy bed! Breakfast has a good selection and the morning staff was equally as helpful in servicing our needs.
