Holiday Inn Cincinnati I 275 North

The rooms are not clean and very dusty. Nothing fresh for breakfast no pool, standing water in it. It's past its good days. Furniture is marked up, refrigerator did not work, main bathrooms had no towels or working hand dryers. I was really disappointed.

This Clarion is long past it's Glory days. The parking lot is in need of repair. The ground were dirty. The resurant, longer, and pool were closed. The staff seemed nice enough. Common areas looked old and rundown. The room was clean and comfortable but it, too looked tired. The bathroom was tiny and the drain plugs didn't work. The price was good so I guess you get what you pay for.

We booked and paid for a room with a Queen bed and a sofa bed through Priceline. I called the hotel in the afternoon to reconfirm and the person who answered the phone said that We arrived at the hotel a little after midnight and receptionist said that they were overbooked and there was absolutely no room available. After talking with him a little, he said that he found a room in the system, that didn't have any sofa bed. We didn't accept the room. It is also important to note that there was excrement (most probably from dog) in the lobby area; the management was in no hurry to clean. Many people were complaining. I am still surprised why the receptionist was trying not to give us the room. He didn't express an regret at all. Anyway, we left and had hoped that we would find another place. As every place was fully booked and we ended up driving through the night.
