Cleveland Marriott Downtown At

The downtown Cleveland Marriott is in an excellent location and was a very attractive space. The gym, an extensive fitness center with most every kind of machine and workout space imaginable, was a standout, and since this is an important feature for us, we were thrilled beyond expectations here. All this said, the room itself was in need of serious updates and cleaning. Garbage was on the floor and moving the curtains resulted in a cloud of dust. The bathroom was barely big enough for one person to use, with minimal counter space and an old-fashioned tub difficult to get in and out of.The staff was largely indifferent, and the M Club offered next to nothing. Would stay again but with very tempered expectations on all but the gym.

This is a large and well located hotel in downtown Cleveland. My room was fine, with a strong wifi signal, a decent number of outlets and an adequate work space. The bathroom was small and the shower tub did not drain well. This is a fairly typical Marriott, and that is ok: I will be back again.

Absolutely blown away by the check-in experience here — the organization level is unmatched, and I say that having traveled the world and stayed at more places than I can count. Huge shoutout to Thaymon, Matt, and Libby for making it seamless from the moment I walked in. Every detail was handled with real care and professionalism. This is what world-class hospitality looks like. Highly recommend!
