Comfort Suites

I am beyond disappointed with the way my family was treated at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The rooms were dirty, the hallways smelled strongly of urine, marijuana was openly being smoked in rooms, and loud parties continued throughout the night. The entire environment felt uncomfortable, unclean, and unprofessional. What truly broke my heart was the way the manager spoke about my 6-year-old niece. She suffers from Type 1 diabetes and fights through this illness every single day. We took precautions by using pull-ups to help prevent accidents, but she still accidentally wet the bed during our stay. Instead of showing compassion or basic human understanding toward a child with a medical condition, the manager made incredibly cruel comments saying she “should have had on 7 diapers” and that “maybe they should not stay at his hotel.” Hearing someone speak about a sick child that way was heartbreaking, humiliating, and honestly disgusting. After speaking to us so disrespectfully, he then told us to take the bedding and wash it ourselves and that he would give us the deposit back. At that point, it was no longer about money it was about the complete lack of empathy and professionalism we experienced. Accidents happen, especially with children and medical conditions, but no family should ever be treated with such cruelty and disrespect. I would never recommend this hotel to families. Between the filthy conditions, constant smell of urine and marijuana, loud partying, and the insensitive treatment from management, this was one of the worst experiences my family has ever had.

Horrible service, disgusting hotel. Smelled horrible the person at the front desk was rude and nasty when they failed at their explaining things when asked. We go to Ohio for competition events and we will never recommend them to our organization.

We tried to check in and after an accident when booking the room online (we put one adult for a room with two beds, when it was one adult and two kids). The person at the front desk was unwilling to help, refused to let us in the room, and was refusing to let us cancel/get our money back. They were extremely difficult to work with and when we called corporate they were confused that the attendant wasn't helping us. Corporate had to call the front desk attendant to tell him to help us and he even argued with them. The attendant wouldn't even give his name to corporate! Awful service, would never recommend this hotel. Stay away!!
