RED ROOF JACKSON OH

Accessible room 126. Very dirty ,debris on the carpet behind the door, mold and black scum clearly visible on window tracks and under fold-up accessible tub chair. Broken towel bar lying on the floor in the bathroom. Microwave was dirty as well. Desk chair had dirt and smeary fingerprints all over it. Housekeeping needs to step it up! Front desk employees were very nice.

I made my reservation online. After check in, the clerk informed me that the locks on the exterior doors were "busted out" and that the doors were held open with rocks. That's a BIG red flag for me! I told the clerk that I didn't feel safe with that and to cancel my stay. She insisted that it was safe because "nothing ever happens here". Sorry...that doesn't cut it. Overall, I wasn't impressed with Jackson, and think travelers should just continue on their way, rather than stop here.

When I asked for a quiet room I was told there were none as they had construction workers in/out. Room’s air conditioning was completely broken, no Kleenex, no hand soap ( the administrator did come up and refill all and stated the afternoon maid guy refuses to do that part of his job, really? Breakfast: ALL CARBS & fake eggs and nasty sausage . No fresh fruit (it’s May folks), no yogurts, no hot oatmeal , and a tiny coffee dispenser which was bad coffee. One of the worse besides the Quality Inn here that down right have bad breakfasts! SKIP THIS TOWN FOR HOTEL, ONLY STOP FOR THE CASA GRANDE RESTAURANT PERIOD!
