Days Inn Kent 84th Ave

Nice new motel. Our accessible room was fully accessible, clean, very comfy bed, good A/C, fridge. Coffee in lobby 24/7. Good breakfast - Bananas, apples, oranges, yogurt with granola, cereal, muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs. Good value.

Immediately adjacent to NOISY freeway and tractor trailer lot with lots of noise. High crime area with homeless sleeping outside the window. People sleeping in their cars next to the highway. The room smelled strongly like a wet dog combined with puke. WiFi didn’t work. Breakfast was marginal. I prepaid but then a $100 deposit was demanded at check in or “you can go elsewhere but you won’t get a refund”. Front desk clerk appeared afraid to unlock the main front door. Motel 6 would blush. My first and last Spark experience. Hilton should be embarrassed to have this hotel affiliated with its name.

We arrived to the hotel at midnight after a concert after we had already checked into our room cause pur payment had been declined even though I showed them the charge for the room went through and nothing. The manager called me the next day advising they were overbooked and that is why my room was given away. Avoid avoid avoid
