Old Man's Cave Chalets

We stayed in a chalet with a loft and hot tub and we loved it. Very charming and quiet. Staff were very helpful and accommodating when we chose a different place within the complex . Close to town and very close to attractions .

Horrible time at one of their cabins. Smelled like a dead mouse. Of course their housekeepers checked out the cabin and said it was fine but several airfreshers didn’t help and after we went to bed the odor was so nauseating that I had to sleep on the porch to avoid it. Front desk help was terrible. Offered a 1 bedroom 1 bath A frame to change to but with 5 people that was not a viable option. At least 4 mousetraps in various parts of the house. Would NOT recommend Chalets of HH to anyone!

Our gathering at Chalets HH was an absolute delight for our group of family and friends! Surprisingly close to Columbus, Chalets HH made for the perfect mini-vacation. Its proximity to hiking trails made it a breeze for us to explore the natures beauty together. The stunning views of sprawling forests and rolling hills created a peaceful, calming atmosphere that set the stage for quality time and unforgettable moments. Everyone in our group raved about the cozy, welcoming vibe of the chalet, and the wonderfully therapeutic hot tub was a crowd favorite—pure relaxation after a day of trail adventures! It was the perfect spot to unwind and share stories under the stars. The chalet’s thoughtful design and serene surroundings made it feel like our own private retreat, ideal for bonding with loved ones. We’re already planning our return this fall to soak in the vibrant foliage and make more cherished memories together. Chalets HH is a fantastic choice for any group of family and friends looking for an affordable, nature-filled getaway. Highly recommend.
