Lafayette Hotel

The ratings were good, the experience was not. Musty and dated with tiny almost non functional bathrooms. Service was random and the waitress at breakfast was just plain rude. Never again

Location and atmosphere are great. We love the location, but was very disappointed with cleanliness of the hotel and restaurant this trip. The mattress felt like it had been there since the hotel opened, the entire hotel needs a good scrubbing from top to bottom it smells old and musty. The dining area had cobwebs hanging from chandeliers and I don’t think they’ve cleaned the windows in years.

Lafayette Hotel is in a great location for the riverwalk, attractions, and restaurants. Be aware that road noise and light is noticeable especially in the balcony rooms. We enjoyed the hotel restaurants and view from the rooftop patio. Lots of history in the building!
