All American Inn & Suites Norwalk

Got a room with jacuzzi tub for the night. In the room, the tub was dirty and recently had water in it. The water was dripping out of the faucet. Pulled back the comforter and the sheets had hairs on them and were wrinkled. Requested a different room. It was dirty, food on the floor, and the sheets had pubic and other hair on it. The guy running the hotel told us to go and he would refund the money. He was in the room with us. He tried pulling a fast one. He charged the room, then refunded the charge, but charged again. I asked for receipt showing both charges refunded. He refused to give me another receipt. Still in the hotel lobby, on speaker, I called CC and filed a fraud report. Reported everything we found on the rooms and that he would not refund the second room charge. He told me to leave and refused to speak with CC rep. He also continued to say he was not giving me a new receipt and a refund for the second charge. Once charges are finalized I will call the CC and they will go after him for the $$. The recorded the call and have him on record refusing the refund and receipt. Left and went straight to the police department to file a complaint. They will email a copy for my records, and for the CC. DO NOT STAY IN THAT FILTHY DISGUSTING HOTEL !

My second, and LAST time I am staying here. Choice Hotels no longer has the respect I once has for them. Comfort Inn used to mean modern, well maintained hotels at a reasonable price. But this one is more run down than the Econo Lodge down the road that I expect to be a "budget" hotel. The tub has a nicotine patch stuck to it, the shower curtain has black mold on it and the tub takes an hour to drain. I am here for 2 nights and reported these things and expected them to be taken care of after the first night. NOPE... came back to the room and nothing has been corrected. It was just as bad last year, so there is no effort by management to improve things. I will not be coming back,

I only gave it one star cause a star is required. HORRIBLE!! Employees were so rude. They threatened to call the cops just because i stated they charged me too much. I stayed calm and they started yelling at me. They gave me 5 different excuses why the price was different. Couldn't even stick with one. Steve was at the desk in the morning and was great. He was the only one. We were in the pool the night before and the guy comes in says pool closed… opens all doors to outside and shuts the lights off. Does not even give us time to grab our stuff.
