Comfort Suites Concord

WARNING! Do NOT book this hotel. It is under MAJOR renovations that they are not advertising. No amenities: pool, gym, business center etc. ALL shutdown and the hotel is a complete construction zone.

Here on a long term business trip and the customer service has been exceptional! Front desk is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable pillows/bed, quiet, and delicious breakfast. Staff goes above and beyond for customers. Decent value for the area. Even with the renovations the amenities are great. Only negative about the hotel is the lack of professionalism from maintenance, specifically Mitch. He is rude, arrogant, spiteful, doesn’t resolve maintenance issues, and is not responsive. He does the bare minimum and that’s saying a lot bc he doesn’t do anything but hide out while on the clock. Other than general maintenance issues/person, I would highly recommend this place to colleagues, friends, and family.

Roaches!! My room had roaches and the older lady, who said she was the General Manager said “Oh sorry about that.” I showed her the photos and video and That was it. Nothing was done about it!!! I fell asleep after a 1:45 am check in and woke up at 2:45 AM to A roach!!!! I took picture and video and after finally getting back to sleep because I was exhausted after traveling all day, I woke up and grabbed my items to leave and saw ANOTHER roach!!!! I took a picture and video of that too!!! I was so upset and told the GM that was unacceptable and all she said was I’ll put it out of order, sorry about that. Nothing else, no empathy, no nothing! I told her no one should have to sleep or wake up to that and I should have received a refund. But nope she said she was sorry about that! So here are the pictures and video!! DO NOT STAY HERE! It’s got ROACHES!!!! Traveling alone is stressful enough without having to worry about bringing home disgusting, filthy, germ carrying, disease ridden roaches. I am so upset about this!
