BUYER BEWARE — YOUR RESERVATION MAY NOT BE SAFE This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would strongly caution anyone considering this property—especially for a concert at the Concord Pavilion. We booked immediately after a concert was announced and secured a very good rate by planning far in advance. Later, we discovered that the reservation had mysteriously disappeared. We booked AGAIN, this time using Wyndham Rewards points, still weeks before the event. Then, just two weeks before the concert, management called to say our reservation had been canceled because the hotel was “overbooked.” So we were effectively bumped twice. What made matters worse was the manager’s lack of credibility. He tried to place responsibility on Wyndham, but when I contacted Wyndham directly, they told me the cancellation decision had been made by the hotel’s management. Then, in an apparent attempt to soften the impact, the manager told me there was another Wyndham property “only four to five blocks farther” from the venue. In reality, it is more than three miles farther away. That kind of misrepresentation only made the situation worse. How does a hotel become “overbooked” when reservations were made weeks or months in advance? Based on our experience, it certainly appears that guests who book early at attractive rates may be at risk if the hotel later realizes it can sell those rooms for much more on an event weekend. If you are attending a concert at the Concord Pavilion and think you are being smart by booking early and locking in a low rate, buyer beware. The better your rate, the more I would question whether your reservation will actually be honored when the event approaches. After having two reservations disappear or be canceled, receiving conflicting explanations about responsibility, and then being given obviously inaccurate information about an alternative hotel, I would never trust this property with an important trip again.

This hotel is awful and I will never got to this Days Inn or any other for that matter. I booked my reservation at this hotel several months in advance for a concert I was going to in the area. I am a Wyndham owner, so I booked my room with points. I received a call the day before arrival asking if I had any special needs in preparation for my arrival. We were traveling with friends who had their own separate reservation. I arrived to check in at the hotel to my dismay my reservation was mysteriously CANCELLED the day before. Of course the hotel is SOLD OUT due to this concert. The hotel staff said they didn’t cancel my reservation, so I called Wyndham to see what happened. It took a while on the phone and an escalation. Wyndham called the hotel directly. Come to find out the hotel cancelled my reservation so they could book someone else at top dollar because they were overbooked. The hotel manager admitted this to the Wyndham person who called her directly, and Wyndham could see exactly how the reservation was cancelled.! The Days Inn manager or owners tried to get me to go to their other hotel… a Motel 6 nearby… of course I’d have to pay their premium price, since it was a concert night. The hotel manager told me that “ i should have checked my email and that I should know better that my reservation was cancelled”! I beg your pardon!!! I received NO email or any communication from Dats Inn or Wyndham that my reservation was cancelled. After a lot of going back and forth and arguing the manager gave my friends a room with 2 Queen beds so we could be together since we came in 1 car. Of course they charged us an additional $65 for the room with 2 beds!!! The hotel manager was so rude and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This hotel is about as “budget” as you can get. We chose there because it was very close to Concord Pavilion and it was just for 1 night. This experience proved to me that you get what you pay for and I will never ever go back to that place again. Tge service was atrocious and shady. They cancelled me so they could get more money from someone else is the bottom line.

The hotel was overbooked, so they canceled my in-laws booking while they were in the air on the way here. There's literally nowhere to stay now. These are senior citizens. The man at the front desk was extremely rude on the phone. I don't understand how you can just do this to people. There's literally nowhere around here for anyone to stay right now, we're strongly considering pitching a tent in front of the hotel.
