Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Durant

Loved the stay! Quiet and peaceful! Took time to go for a swim in the sparkling pool! We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay again. Breakfast is something we always make sure that have when we travel. The staff was great!

The Holiday Inn express exceeded our expectations. It is a fairly new property. The room was very spacious. Room and lobby were very clean. Nice complementary breakfast. Rooms include safe although does not appear necessary. 24 hours a day coffee grinder, and coffee machine and lobby is a nice touch. I recommend this location without reservation.

My stay had both positives and negatives. The front desk interaction felt dry and the staff member appeared unkempt, which made for a poor first impression. I was also disappointed that parking was not actually free as stated on the website. The room was clean, but the TV and iron did not work initially; both were fixed quickly after reporting. I also noticed a stray cat around the front desk, which didn’t help the overall impression. The pool area was underwhelming and could use better maintenance and cleaning. On the positive side, breakfast was excellent. The dining area was very clean, and the breakfast attendant was friendly, attentive, and a standout part of the stay. Overall, the property needs improvement in presentation, maintenance, and accuracy of information, though the breakfast service was a clear highlight.
