Rodeway Inn & Suites

I was helping my best friend move back home across country. We had a uhaul and a car trailer. We arrived at the hotel around 830 pm. Ryan Smith was the employee on staff at the time. He was very welcoming and funny! So great after a long day. We had realized that our car battery had died on the trailer (really long story) and we ended up having to wait for AAA. Because it was getting later at night and we were two single woman out there alone, Ryan did everything he could to make sure we were kept company and safe. His nephew Kiante Smith was taking over shift at 11pm and yes we were still out there so Kiante stepped up in place. They were both wonderful and kind and even offered us a later check out time with no extra charge because we literally did not get into our room till after midnight. Kudos to these two amazing men and after all that, the room was super clean and beds so comfy! They went above and beyond!

This was the worst experience ever the staff were all crackheads, they made us leave a deposit for a one night stay, as usual, but they were super sketchy about it, and then when we got in the room, the shower was horribly dirty, the curtain was missing the magnets and wouldn’t even stay closed, the floor literally was cracked and denting in we’re going on a big trip and have had this planned for months, and we stayed for a single night, we left a $100 bill deposit and in the morning the rude staff member in which was a bald Mexican dude was super rude and we even had a receipt for the deposit he wouldn’t give it back, basically stealing, they probably need the $100 to fix their disqusting rooms, there was a old man flirting with the crack lady last night when we checked in and as I walked in (15 years old) he started asking me where I was from, the whole place stunk, and the reasoning was “we kept the cart” as if there was any indication we couldn’t keep it for our one night stay, we won’t be ever coming back because the staff is crap, and the room was crappy and unstocked, breakfast is trash, and there was probably nobody there for this exact reasoning, fire this worker because that’s some bs.

When we arrived there was a sign at the front desk that said "pool closed for renovations." This information was not on the reservation site. The pool was a big deal to my kids so we opted to go somewhere else. They would not refund my money! It was only one night but I wouldn't have chosen this particular property if I had know about the pool. VERY FRUSTRATING! $130 DOWN THE DRAIN!!
