Super 8 Motel - Stillwater/St Paul Area

Nice staff very friendly clean rooms

My apologies to the managers of the Asteria Inn, Stillwater, due to a review that was meant for The Best Value Inn, Stillwater! Any other negative review was supposed to be directed at that awful place! The Asteria Inn and Suites is a comfortable, affordable, well cared for hotel. The managers are very helpful, and I've felt they are keeping a good eye on the place. It's not often I feel that my safety is a priority to a hotel I've stayed at, but I feel like it was looked after while I've been here. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, if the opportunity should arise. Thank you to the hotel managers for being kind, courteous, and respectful! My hat goes off to you! 😁

We arrived and when we got into our room it smelled so strongly of cleaner, we decided to open the window, which was broken and wasn't even closed tightly. We then noticed that the carpet was wet and found mold on the floor so we immediately decided to leave. One person noticed bugs on the wall as well, but we didn't look closely at them just left. The person behind the counter offered us a different room which we declined and asked for a refund which they did without a question. Now almost 2 months later we discovered bed bugs in our house and determined this is where they came from. I would never step foot in the door of this hotel again!
