Oakhill Inn Tahlequah

This was the dirtiest motel I've ever seen in Oklahoma. Bed bugs in overstuff chair and on bedding. I seen small ones all over my clothing after first night. Old mattresses sitting in parking lot gives you a clue. Staff was nice. Dirty and stained tubs, sinks, microwave. This place needs to be gutted and remodeled.

Staff was very nice they changed our room the next day. Did not get in non smoking room as reserved. Both Rooms were not clean. Dirty bedding.Dirty tubs. Nasty carpet. Hotel needs to be gutted and remodeled! Staff tried to clean best they could.

We booked through hotels.com based on a friends previous stay, that must have been ages ago! Before our arrival we were 'upgraded' free by the manager. Upon arrival the manager checked us in and was very off. When we went to our room we were immediately hit with horrible smells when we opened our door. We began checking the room and quickly found it hadn't been cleaned in Lord knows how long! The hide a bed should be out in the parking lot and burned. (It's already been burned by cigarettes in a non smoking room). The beds appeared clean so we decided to try and tuff it out. Huge mistake! When we came back after our day events, the room smelled even worse! Housekeeping did not come by and p.o it out clean towels and the office was locked before 5pm. We had to call for clean towels which took at least 45 minutes and were delivered by the manager with a cigarette in his hand. After the toilet over flowed and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a toilet plunger I had enough! I told the manager and asked for a refund and he denied my request. My husband also tried speaking with him which resulted in us being asked to leave. We packed as quick as possible and called to local police to make sure there were no problems. Needless to say, we learned out lesson the hard way! Stay anywhere else but here!
