HAMPTON INN TULSA/WOODLAND HILLS

This is everything I expect from a Hampton Inn. Room: King bed with sofa bed. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Ample and thoughtful storage options. Comfortable sofa for relaxing. Loved the extra shelf space in the bathroom! Breakfast: Complimentary with our reservation type. Ample choices of eggs, breakfast meats, breads, cereal, fruit. We were usually eating around 8:30 and there was plenty of food. The breakfast area was clean and well kept. Location: In a suburban area about 20 minutes from downtown. This meant that parking was free and plentiful. The area is quiet. It is across the street from the mall, so there are lots of restaurant options nearby (chain and local). Also convenient to grocery, drug stores, etc. If you don't mind driving to all the Tulsa attractions, it's a great location. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Minor issues: The elevators were making some really weird noises and seemed in need of maintenance but they functioned just fine. Ice machines on floors 3 and 4 were not working so we had to take the elevator to 2. One suggestion: A bottle filler with cold water in the lobby would be handy. Overall a very satisfying experience and good value for money (I am a Hilton Honors member so I did get a discount).

Nice hotel, everything was clean and room was comfy. We didn’t try the breakfast but those who were eating seemed to enjoy it. There are tons of restaurants and stores near here - very good location. One complaint - they only clean the room every other day. When I stopped at the desk after the first full day, I nicely asked if we could at least get fresh towels. She let me know I should have seen the sign in the bathroom that says every other day (she’s right, it was small and I didn’t see the it). I said well we used all our towels. She sighed and asked me ho many I wanted. We were headed out but she said I would have to take the towels to the room. I wanted to ask if she wanted me to start a load washing 😂 but I knew she probably didn’t make the rules. On our way back out, after delivering the towels to the room, she was giving another guest a stack of towels. I’ve just never experienced a hotel being stingy with clean towels. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Other than the towel thing, our stay was fine.

This was a great place for a great price. The staff was so professional and accommodating. My kids loved the breakfast because it had so many options including a waffle station with strawberries and whipped cream. The lounge area was a great place to watch March Madness on their big screen as well. Overall a great, solid place to stay.
