Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tulsa South Broken Arrow Highway 51

Really like the proximity of this hotel to Broken Arrow Veterans Park. Nice stay but $5 parking is goofy for such a nice hotel. Had to go back to the website to confirm that charge was listed.

The man who worked the front desk late at night was a delight to deal with. All front desk employees should be so kind and professional. On the other hand, the sheets are not cotton but heat holding polyester and the thermostat is the variety that doesn’t actually get as cold as one adjusts it to. I have come across hotels recently that have a lower threshold for temperature but allow you to put whatever you want on the thermostat: it just doesn’t actually do anything. That was my experience in a July heat wave.

Best night's sleep I've had in 22 days of travel. The bed was comfortable, the room cooled down quickly, and even though my room overlooked the highway - it was very quiet. Breakfast was good too.
