La Quinta Inn Tulsa 41st Street

This was not a pleasant experience. On the positive side, the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet. The TV had multiple channel selections. Water was hot with excellent pressure. A/C was cold, even on a 100-degree day. However, I am disabled and had asked for an accessible room, only to be told all rooms had tubs (no walk-in showers) and there were NO grab bars. The web site states "free full breakfast" and "free hot breakfast" (which is common for Quality Inns). This location offered continental breakfast only. The front door had not been painted in years. The tub was absolutely filthy.

On 01/13/2026, I checked in to this hotel, along with 12 other coworkers from out of town. The bathroom in my hotel room was dirty and still had a used bar of soap in the shower. During the night, while I was asleep, I was awakened by a loud bang. I got out of bed and discovered that somebody had just attempted to enter my room. The security swing bar on the door stopped the intruder(s) from entering. When I informed the female front desk agent about what had happened, her response was: "I'll make a note of it.". (An unknown individual attempted to enter my room while I was asleep. My personal safety was compromised. In response, the hotel will 'make a note of it'.). The following morning I learned that all of my coworkers had similar experiences. We immediately relocated to a different hotel. The QUALITY INN TULSA CENTRAL lost out on selling 13 rooms for 10 nights. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

The only positive thing I can say about this place is the price. Walls are thin, we could hear conversations in the next room, the person at check in was not friendly, the breakfast was a joke: overcooked biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast and two cereal options consisting of Raisin Bran and Cheerios. The juice machine said orange and apple juice, but only dispensed very watered down orange juice. The chair in our room had interesting dark stains on an arm, and the bathtub did not look clean. The location is not the best either, you can only drive in one direction from the entrance.
