The Baker city tourist newspaper advertises the GEISER Grande Hotel is a SC in Baker city it talks about the lobby the dining room room and so we went downtown to spend money and the jerk at the desk would not allow us to go past the lobby we were not able to look into the dining room. We were not able to look anywhere and when asked to use the restroom told absolutely not. I am in the travel business, and I am in the process of putting together a tour in this area and they will definitely not be on my list as a place to eat or stay. What a poor impression of Baker city. When I visited the Oregon Trail museum this morning we were welcomed with open arms and everyone was friendly. This guy needs to be removed from his post. He does not represent the hotel nor the city.

Our stay exceeded our expectations in every single category, including categories we were not aware even existed! Our suite was grandiose and reminded me of the Titanic… Old world, opulence, beautifully maintained and executed. Superb customer service from Ethan and John… they were truly the proverbial icing on the cake… Extremely friendly, welcoming, and polite, and gracious they knew everything about the hotel from the foodwe should order to the drinks we should order to which room to put us in. They are the dynamic duo and they are the heart of beautiful hotel. 🙌 The dinner that we had was so delicious we were blown away by how good the food is and the service and how fresh the was. Our dining experience was beautiful… Nobody rushed us to get out and make wave for someone else we were allowed to take our time each other‘s company the food in the ambience. We would and we are actually going to be staying again in a couple of weeks and I have recommended this hotel two more people in the last month than any other hotel/lodging facility in my entire life. As an Airbnb host myself that certainly says something!! Hospitality at its finest executed with precision and perfection by Ethan and John they run the hotel with grace, superb service and with genuine hospitality..they make guests feel welcomed, seen and appreciated. Thank you Ethan and Jon💗

I’ve stayed here several times. The staff is very responsive and helpful, providing just the right amount of information and support. Rooms are beautiful and clean…..the dining room is luxurious , There is a wonderful feeling of stepping back into another more gentle time.
