My husband and I booked a double queen at West Beach Suites for a week long stay. The room was very nice, with a seperate bedroom, with a queen bed, and the main living area also had a queen bed. The unit was much larger that I expected. The beds were super comfortable. There was a small kitchenette, with a sink, counter, cupboards and drawers. There were plates, bowls, and eating utinsils. The hotel is beachside, which is wonderful. The view is amazing. However, if you are housed on the third floor, there are about 85 steps down to the beach....The front desk workers were kind and friendly. This is a 3 story building, with no elevator. We were on the third floor, and we are older, so it wasn't fun to tote our luggage up the flights of stairs. The outside stairs to the different levels are carpeted, and really quite sandy. It gave an offputting vibe when we arrived. Our unit had some issues with cleanliness. The floor was really quite gritty and dirty. I am pretty picky, so I tested the floor to see how clean it was by wiping an area with a wet paper towell. The towell became filthy pretty quickly. Our feet turned dark quickly as well. I hand mopped the floor several times, and bought a mop the next day, and continued to mop a couple time a day. Finally got the floor where it didn't make our feet dirty. There was some mold in the shower, that we were able to remove with a bleach cleaner, and the bathroom sink was slow to drain. My husband cleaned the drain, and it worked much better. The hotel is not close to many shopping areas. I am a walker and like to stroll around Lincoln City. Being on the South end of town, the sidewalks along 101 in this area were few and far between. All in all, a good stay, and it would have been a 5 star review if those minor issues could be corrected. We would stay again.

It was a disappointment. Booked on their website a few days before we were to leave. Reserved the only room left and got a completely different room. The room I was expecting was ground floor; with a deck, large bathroom etc. All the pictures of the room I selected showed all of these amenitites; and as I said, there was only 1 room offered so I could not have made a mistake! What we got was a room definitely lacking in ambience and felt like institution, with a sicking sweet cherry deodorant smell that was so strong I could taste it. I didn't even feel comfortable taking off my shoes. Plus it was 65-75 ( I lost count) stair steps up & down to the beach You ask why we stayed - No refund, no partial, no nothing. Take a look at the policies and rules before you book and you will get the picture. I have a sick husband and would NEVER book a room on the 3rd Floor. No escalator, no help ( the receptionist did bring up a bag).

Stayed here years ago, big surprise with a total renovation. Our room had a kitchenette so you could stay several days and it was a reasonable rate
