Fortune Inn And Suites Newport

We came for the eclipse. The rooms are dated but clean. The family that runs the motel were very hospitable. The refrigerator had a freezer compartment which we used to make frozen cups of ice for our cooler. Breakfast consisted of waffles, biscuits & gravy, toast, bagels, some fruit, cold cereals, coffee and orange drink. The dining area was small. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. A good value in Newport.

Simply put, you get what you pay for when it comes to this establishment. Stayed 3/14/24, a Thursday. Rooms are dated, but clean. Front desk female attendant was very nice both in the evening and morning at breakfast and check out. The only complaint I can offer is the Wifi signal is weak. I stayed in room 126 and sporadically would get one bar of a signal or none throughout my stay. I also want to mention Newport, AR has some of the kindest and helpful citizens!

the hotel pool was freshly painted , new supply was being unload at hotel on my first night , looked like new beds ,and air conditioners , my room was so large i got the updated king suites i guess. ,hotel manager gave me a discount because i was staying so long ,hotel employees where very helpful and in lobby is like a small store with food and drinks
