DAYS INN CLACKAMAS/PORTLAND

Don't believe the photos on the website! There are 5 Buildings not attached to main hotel. They would appear to be used for maybe vouchers instead of paying customers? Lights were out in walkway making it very dingy. Sheets were so scratchy I slept in my clothes. I am pretty easy going and don't mind small and no frills. But this was disgusting. Coffee house on site is simply Coffee pots.

Very nice for the price. In a great area with many restaurants nearby. Hallways smelled nice and the room was good for this class of hotel MUCH better than the Clackamas Inn & Suites (it had bad smells and wasn't in a good location - the breakfast there was poor and cramped). The breakfast here was much better and had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, coffee/juice and yogurt. Had a LARGE breakfast area (but needs to tune the TV away from NBC). The staff was very nice and accommodating. We have stayed here twice in the last 2 years (a few days each time) and like the hotel. Near the interstate, so ask for a room on the opposite side away from the interstate. Our room on the end was very quiet. Great value compared to other hotels in the area!

Due to a family member being in the hospital. I stayed at the Quality Inn in Sunnyside for a week. The rate for the room was very fair; more importantly the people working at the Quality were "quality". The front desk (Matt, Destiny, others) were very accommodating to my needs as I had to extend my stay. They also provided extra coffee (always needed) plus were generally just friendly, nice people. The Quality Inn in Sunnyside is conveniently located off I-205 which runs North and South on the Eastside of the Portland area. This property is super convenient to the highway and there are at least a dozen places to eat and drink withing 5 minutes of the Quality Inn. There is also shopping and other stores very close by. The room I stayed in had a very modern bathroom and the bed was comfortable. It is a Quality Inn so the rooms are not the size of a suite nor would you expect them to be that large. The strength of the WiFi in my room was a bit spotty; it worked but the signal strength was not great from time to time. Pro Tips - The Quality Inn is across the street from the Kaiser Permanent Hospital. If you have a loved one at the hospital the Quality Inn will provide you with a special rate. It's not listed on the website (as they can't do that) but it is available; just mention it to the front desk at check in. The shampoo and conditioner bottles are tiny; if you need more, just ask the front desk and they will give you as many as you need. The Quality Inn in Sunnyside provides a quality experience; it is in a very convenient location and the people are friendly/nice.
