Econo Lodge Expo Center

We booked a 2 night stay at the Portland Inn because the price and pictures on priceline.com looked decent. However, we ended up leaving and going to a different hotel before actually staying a night here. The outside of the building is in disrepair with missing siding and stains everywhere. Cigarette butts and trash litter the parking lot, the outside walkways, and the area around the outside ice machine. The stairs up to the 2nd & 3rd levels are bowed and covered in filthy carpeting and more cigarette butts. The room itself was fairly clean inside. The shower knob was broken to the point where water could be turned on & off but not adjusted for temperature. When I went to call the front desk I found that the phone on the nightstand was not actually connected to anything. No phone wire, no phone jack. The hotel seems to cater to long-term residents at least as much as hotel guests. Many of the rooms looked well lived-in with garbage and broken furniture stacked outside the doors. The staff were friendly enough when I checked in and polite when I checked out but I couldn't bring myself to stay at this hotel and won't be back.

This motel is absolutely ridiculous. The receptionist was crazy rude. Even asking us for the pincode of our credit card?! Takes ages to find our room. Sketchy types hanging around the parking lot. Rooms look like crackspots. The walls and the doors are scratched an stained. The locks are broken. The peephole is stuffed with a tissue. There are holes in the bedding. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting, full of mold and yellow and brown stains. The ceilings are yellow brown because of the smoke. And the room reeks of tobacco. The bed itself is extremely shabby and squeaks upon every move. The motel is extremely noisy. You can hear every move and every step. Terrible terrible experience. Plus the vibe feels very unsafe with a lot of sketchy types here. Ridiculous, especially for the price they ask for it. This is worth $25-30 max. Anything more is just ridiculous. Stay away if you’re reading this, DON’T BOOK IT, DON’t DO IT!!!

Cheap and clean. Didn't see any bugs. We got a non smoking room on the third floor the bed is brand new and the wifi is free i slept so well i am definitely coming back. We stayed three nights it was comfortable clean and the staff were friendly. We are struggling and this motel was in our price range.............
